With over 35 years of carpentry experience, Allen Wilkens built his career in framing and residential construction before founding Wilkens Wood Design in 2023. Seeking a less physically demanding path and the opportunity to work alongside his family, he now designs and crafts each piece using a blend of traditional expertise and modern CNC and laser technology. His daughters, Anna and Lora, manage marketing and advertising, while his wife, Sharon, oversees shipping, packaging, bookkeeping, and daily operations.
