Create a beautiful native landscape while discouraging unwanted browsing from deer and rabbits with Prairie Legacy's Mini Native Deer & Rabbit Resistant Seed Mix. Available in both short and tall varieties, these carefully selected collections feature Nebraska native wildflowers chosen for their natural resistance to deer and rabbit feeding while providing exceptional habitat and food sources for pollinators.

The Short Mix contains native species that typically remain under 3 feet tall, making it ideal for front yards, borders, pathways, and smaller garden spaces. The Tall Mix features species that grow over 3 feet tall, creating dramatic height, seasonal color, and valuable habitat for pollinators and wildlife.

Each mix includes six individual packets of locally adapted native wildflower seed selected for beauty, resilience, and wildlife value. These plants thrive in a variety of conditions and help support bees, butterflies, birds, and other beneficial insects throughout the growing season.

Plant in early spring on bare soil, lightly rake seed into the soil, and keep moist until established. With no pretreatment required, these mixes are easy to plant and maintain. As with many native species, optimum establishment may take 2–3 years, but the long-term results provide a vibrant, low-maintenance landscape rooted in Nebraska.
