Ogallala Bay Rum is a small (but steadily growing) business run by two families with a few dedicated employees. It started in 2006 when the founder couldn’t find a bay rum reminiscent of his youth. After 130 versions created in the family basement, he came up with a bay rum cologne that quickly became one of the fastest-selling bay rums on the market. They outgrew the basement years ago, and Ogallala Bay Rum products have now been sold in over 40 countries, a number of retail stores across the country, and in three national catalogs.
