About the Author:
Based out of Omaha, Nebraska, Monique Farmer is an accredited public relations professional who runs a PR/Communication firm, Avant Solutions. She is also the creator of Anvil Ready, an online communication strategy builder that aids the communication professional in creating communication plans.
She teaches PR at the University of Texas at Austin. Farmer previously served as the director of communications for Nebraska’s largest school district and in corporate communications for ConAgra Foods (now ConAgra Brands). Prior to that, she worked in Public Affairs for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
She is a 90s R&B lover, mom of three and the wife of Omaha Fire Captain John Farmer, Jr. for 22 years.
