It all began on the Vetter family farm in 1953. That is when Don Vetter, questioning the science and ethics of the agricultural practices of the day, began to adopt organic farming methods. Don’s son David returned to the farm in 1975 after earning a Bachelor’s Degree in agronomy/soil science from the University of Nebraska. The Vetters were true pioneers, being among the first in the region to take the organic challenge. Their courage and perseverance paid off; the farm was certified organic in 1978, and became The Grain Place, Inc. in 1979. Now a well-established and growing business, Grain Place Foods is operated by a staff of two dozen highly-trained individuals, several of whom have been with the company for over 15 years.
The mission of Grain Place Foods is to provide to its customers grain products that are grown and produced in an ecologically sustainable and socially responsible manner – with the conviction that how your food is produced does matter! Based in Marquette, Nebraska.
Tastes like home!
My hubby was tickled to get this for Christmas. His all time favorite pancakes. If only they still made the plastic storage tub…..
She loved it. She is from another state and did not know about Dorothy Lynch so I shared it with her.
Sorry, I did not want to give this a bad review, but I REALLY did not care for the Trails End edition. I have used the original Bay Rum cologne for many years and still like that scent. I needed more and thought I would try the Trails End, and based on the description, it sounded good. Sorry, it is not for me. Reminded me of the smell of baby powder. Back to the original.
Love this brew!!
Loved it! It was a huge hit at our Pink Out celebration!
I’ve searched for a long time to find a Belgian waffle mix that delivers that distinct restaurant-quality crispness, and Heartland Gourmet Belgian Waffle Mix finally checks all the boxes. The waffles come out golden with that perfect crisp on the edges while staying soft and fluffy inside. It is the closest I have come to recreating that classic Belgian waffle taste and texture at home, and it is absolutely worth it.
Such a user friendly, mom friendly, easy to do cookbook either recipes that make dinner a breeze! Lots of good go to's! My husband is THE pickiest eater and every recipe so far he has loved! And makes for beautiful countertop display!
Beautiful photos, readable recipes, and delicious results! Makes a terrific gift, too.
Friends in Alaska from Nebraska going without Dorothy, supply chain gets bad in the winter up there. Pleasantly surprised at the low shipping cost. This made for big smiles and friendship perks👍
