After several major losses, she gives in to her depression. The women watch Alexa try to take her own life. As she hovers between life and death, Lexi is able to trade places with Alexa.

Now it’s Alexa’s turn to watch her previous lives and talk to the women that were once her. From their stories, she begins to understand her own. She also finally figures out what she wants to do with her life--if only she can get back to it!
