Private Oaks was founded by lifelong friends Clayton Schenk and Shane Powell, whose shared upbringing on farms in south-central Nebraska instilled values of hard work, honesty, and respect for the land, along with a belief that luxury and integrity can coexist. Drawing on backgrounds in agriculture, psychology, business, and fitness, they set out to create clean, high-quality soaps after growing frustrated with everyday products filled with synthetic ingredients. Crafted with organic oils, natural clays, and mineral salts, each bar reflects their commitment to health, transparency, and accessibility—offering premium, all-natural products made with purpose, patience, and a distinct sense of Nebraska pride. Based in Hastings, Nebraska.
