Kevin Baker began his professional career in the aerospace industry, where he was responsible for constructing and servicing equipment used to build U.S. military missiles. Later transitioning to the world of confectionery, he recognized an opportunity to transform the production of gourmet chocolates. Driven by this vision, he designed, built, tested, and maintained his own custom production line—a move that allowed him to produce confections at a fraction of the cost and invest in only the finest ingredients. Founded in 1987, the company remains 100% family-owned and operated, operating a 25,000-square-foot facility that produces more than 2,000 pounds of their signature meltaways each day. Based in Greenwood, Nebraska.
