With over 35 years of carpentry experience, Allen Wilkens built his career in framing and residential construction before founding Wilkens Wood Design in 2023. Seeking a less physically demanding path and the opportunity to work alongside his family, he now designs and crafts each piece using a blend of traditional expertise and modern CNC and laser technology. His daughters, Anna and Lora, manage marketing and advertising, while his wife, Sharon, oversees shipping, packaging, bookkeeping, and daily operations. Together, the Wilkens family combines craftsmanship, creativity, and care to produce high-quality, handcrafted pieces rooted in both skill and family collaboration. Based in Waverly, Nebraska.
