Baldridge Food Company
Zelphia Baldridge was one of those old-fashioned cooks whose table was a favorite meeting place for friends and family. A member of and the mother of a large family, Granny Zel was concerned with feeding them a nutritious, tasty meal. During these many cooking experiences, Zelphia enlisted the help of her family and it was there that her fourth child, Jim Baldridge, learned the basics of good cooking. As he grew, Jim began a search for a complete seasoning that would allow ''one smooth move'' from herbs and spices to the food preparation with a Granny Zel tasting result. A few trips to Ireland, France, Italy, Argentina and Brazil, where he observed many fine chefs at work, and the encouragement of a local grocery store chain owner, convinced Jim Baldridge that he should perfect his blend of herbs and spices for marketing. After procuring a reliable source of the finest herbs, spices, and necessary ingredients, a commercial venture began in July 1991 when Jim Baldridge's Secret Seasoning was placed on the retail market. Based in North Platte, Nebraska.
Love this stuff so much! Smells great. Subtle but strong enough to make a statement. Clean, simple and not at all chemically. I love the all natural ingredients and the blend. Please don’t ever go out of business or try and “improve” this recipe. I’m a Nebraskan and also appreciate the history here. Kudos!
I was a prep cook for valentino's for over 8 years. The spaghetti sauce is not like the original, however the pizza sauce is perfect. I still enjoyed both very much. Ah memories.
I was first introduced to this in Missouri. Went to California to visit and could not find it. Got my grandparents hooked on it then started shipping it from Missouri. Once I moved to California I had to stock up when I visited California. Now I've found there site where I can buy it direct. It's a win win for me and my family. I want no other dressing but Dorthy Lynch!!@
We were introduced to the Dorothy Lynch dressing on a visit to old friends in Iowa. When we got back to Florida it's hard to find, so, for a while we found it on Amazon. We'll, I checked it out online and found I could get it directly from the maker at a better price! Now it's the only salad dressing I use! It's the best I've ever eaten!
Loved it! It was a huge hit at our Pink Out celebration!
I’ve searched for a long time to find a Belgian waffle mix that delivers that distinct restaurant-quality crispness, and Heartland Gourmet Belgian Waffle Mix finally checks all the boxes. The waffles come out golden with that perfect crisp on the edges while staying soft and fluffy inside. It is the closest I have come to recreating that classic Belgian waffle taste and texture at home, and it is absolutely worth it.
Such a user friendly, mom friendly, easy to do cookbook either recipes that make dinner a breeze! Lots of good go to's! My husband is THE pickiest eater and every recipe so far he has loved! And makes for beautiful countertop display!
Beautiful photos, readable recipes, and delicious results! Makes a terrific gift, too.
Friends in Alaska from Nebraska going without Dorothy, supply chain gets bad in the winter up there. Pleasantly surprised at the low shipping cost. This made for big smiles and friendship perks👍
