This pasta is a thick ruffled helices. All our pasta is produced with a bronze die that gives typical rough and porous character that retains sauces and condiments. These noodles are an Italian inspired pasta coming from a long time family friend Chef Gisella Isidori.
Sabbiatos pasta is made from 100% select durum wheat semolina flour
For Authentic "al dente" pasta, lightly salt pot of water and bring to a boil. Add pasta and stir occasionally. Test after 9 minutes for desired tenderness. If needed allow one more minute of cooking. Pasta should have a slight firmness when bitten.
