This mix is perfect for shady areas, as it contains a variety of species that thrive in both sun and partial shade. For optimal results, we recommend planting in early Winter (November) as many of these species require cold moist stratification. If planting in the spring, be prepared to mow regularly to reduce weeds and allow for germination. The more seed you use, the better your chances against competing weeds.
