Beginning his professional career in the aero-space industry, Kevin Baker was responsible for constructing and servicing equipment responsible for building U.S. military missles. Moving later to the field of confectionaries, he saw an opportunity to revolutionize the production of gourmet chocolates. He went on to design, build, test, construct and maintain his dream production line. His ability to build his own line allowed him to produce his confections at a fraction of the cost, allowing him to buy the best of ingredients. Founded in 1987, the company remains 100% family-owned and -operated and maintains a 25,000 sq ft plant that produces more than 2,000 lb of their signature meltaways each day. Based in Greenwood, Nebraska.
