Dan and Clarissa Feldman own and operate Setting D Ranch, a 3rd generation family ranch, in Litchfield, Nebraska. In 1942, Dan's Grandpa, Walt Feldman, started the ranch by offering Black Angus cattle by carcass to neighbors and raising row crops.
Dan and Clarissa continue his tradition today, with the addition of more cattle breeds and pigs!
All of our stock is harvested at a local Nebraska, USDA Inspected locker. Cuts are sold by the pound as frozen and pre-packaged. We are currently offering beef, pork and mixed cut boxes! Currently shipping to the majority of the lower 48.
And as if we aren't busy enough, we enjoy showing our Foundation Quarter horses, attending Farmers Markets and are active members in the Nebraska Cattlemen.

Yes, there really was a Dorothy Lynch. In the 1940s, she first made her famous dressing for Legion Club members in St. Paul, Nebraska...and the rest is history. Today, Dorothy Lynch Home Style and Light & Lean are used for so much more than just salad.

In 1946, Lad Jisa started a dairy farm outside of Brainard, NE with just a few Holsteins. The dairy now milks over 300 Holstein cows. The first batch of cheese was made in the spring of 2005. The recipe for cheese involves milk, time and temperature.
