Don't knock it until you try it! Bison meat is very lean and has a great flavor that can be eaten with no sauce or spice added! Let's make it!

Who is Nebraska Bison?

At Nebraska Bison, our search for better began on a humble farm with the mindset to craft something better for our families. For over 20 years in Adams, NE, we have been proudly feeding families across the United States. Being a trusted food supplier is something we take seriously, and our reviews speak for themselves. The meat we serve is the same meat we put on our own tables to feed our own families

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of your choice of ground Nebraska bison meat
  • 10 slices thick cut smoked bacon (cooked, 2 pieces crumbled)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon season pepper
  • 1 cup crumbled Bleu cheese
  • 1 large tomato (sliced)
  • 4 burger buns
  •  Butter
  • Mayo (for serving)

Directions:

  1. Combine Nebraska Bison patties, 2 slices of crumbled bacon, 1/3 cup Bleu cheese, dry mustard, seasoned pepper and egg.
  2. Form into 4 patties
  3. Butter the insides of the buns and toast them in a skillet
  4. Heat grill to 350 degrees and place burgers on the grill. Grill 9 minutes on each side. Internal temperature of the Nebraska Bison burger will be 160 degrees for a "well done" burger.
  5. Place the Nebraska Bison burger on the toasted bun, add some mayo. Top with tomatoes, 2 slices of bacon and Bleu cheese.
