The Baldorf Charitable Foundation allows MRP to extend a hand to communities in need, helping MRP meet its mission by providing resources for educational opportunities, healthy lifestyle choices, environmental conservation and community service. MRP funds the Foundation through the Dirt Nap Series and Baldorf product sales, donations and grants. Foundation resources are then used to carry out MRP’s community improvement projects and to provide grant funding to smaller community organizations in line with MRP’s mission.
The sauce that started it all. Original Blend was created in 2006 by MRP’s founders for Jamaica’s Trelawny Yam Festival, where it won a bronze and silver medal in the culinary competition. Sweet and tangy with a dash of heat, Original Blend is a great way to introduce the Dirt Nap Series to your kitchen. Use as a table sauce or add to your favorite recipes.
It is made in Nebraska in small, hand-crafted batches. Dirt Nap Dip uses locally sourced, healthy and all-natural ingredients with no preservatives, artificial chemicals, corn syrup or “natural flavors".
- 12 oz Shredded Cheese
- 1.5 tbsp Flour
- 1.5 tbsp Butter
- 1 Cup Milk
- 8 oz Cooked Ground Beef
- 4 tbsp Dirt Nap Dip Original Blend
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/2 tsp Dry Chives
Melt butter in a sauce pan over low heat. Add flour and whisk together. Cook mixture for 3-4 minutes, whisking continuously. Mixture will turn golden brown (be sure not to burn!). Add milk and stir. Add cheese a handful at a time, stir until melted. Add everything else and mix well. Pour into small crock pot. Done! Goes with anything that needs a little cheese.
